Our days are filled with information.
It comes from all around us, and it rarely respects the boundaries of the work day. Dealing with that information can be time-consuming, and time is valuable.
As a writer, my goal is to get people the information they need as conveniently as I can. Clear writing and plain language are important parts of that, and they are standards that should be applied to nearly every genre and text.
